It took me a while, but I got there! I was really struggling with the rook moves at the end. My intuition was screaming at me. The previous (noob) episodes really helped pull the ending together. A great game for sure! Thanks, Jonathan!

So nice to revisit this game blindfold...! It's one of my top 3 favorite games of all time (I already new it by heart); and it was one of my first attempts to reproduce a game without a board, trying to improve my visualization skills...

Nevertheless, there are (I think) two mistakes:

1. Last move is: 25. Rxh7+ (if I'm not mistaken)

2. I think the first bonus question is wrong: it's impossible to play 9... Nxe4 , isn't it?

Oops. You're correct.

Last move is indeed a capture.

and I made a mistake with the bonus question.

I'd meant to ask 7 ... Nxe4 instead of 7 ... d5 and obviously something went awry between my brain and my fingers doing the typing.

Thanks for pointing these out - I've corrected them.

Yes, I thought you meant 7...Nxe4...and that's the Greco Gambit! Very interesting and tricky option with a lot of awesome continuations; great stuff to investigate if you play the Italian! It can't be bad, when even Steinitz went for it... If you are interested, I strongly recommend the free course by LesYeuxDuChat in Chessable (https://www.chessable.com/great-gambits-the-greco/course/20940/) which is, in my opinion, alongside with the Two Knights course by FM andreyt, the best free courses you can find in Chessable! If you haven't yet, check them out. It's worth it ;)
